I have lived in London for over 10 years working in all kinds of creative environments from design agencies to animation studios. An MSc in Computer Animation took me into the world of creating ads, pop promos and working in film; that kind of thing. Throughout I’ve always drawn and sketched things, so it’s not surprising that I would eventually be led into illustration.
London is a great city, a melting pot of people and experiences. An active imagination and an always accessible sketchbook allow me to capture and chronicle this. From incidents in the street and curious characters on the tube to interesting places and overheard conversations, I draw it all. My prints are an amalgamation of this with my love of architecture.
Ultimately I just want to tell a visual story, one that people who also love the city can take and use to capture their own slice of history. Be it a place where they’ve lived, a house that they’ve owned or even to chronicle their own life’s journey.
